Use a Star Wiring Pattern

Seasoned professional installers use a Star Wiring Pattern. With star wiring, each outlet (jack) has its own individual “home run” of cabling extending back to the central distribution panel.

Using a “star” pattern for the wiring network ensures each outlet has its own “home” cable running to the distribution panel. This allows the flexibility to change the outlets services easily at a later date.
